I have never realized that this module in our curriculum has changed some areas of my decision-making and conduct of ethical practices in a significant manner. The course was started merely to learn theoretical aspects, as I have participated in many conventional lectures on theoretical elements that are conducted in an unattractive manner. However, as time passed, I realized that the practical concepts adopted when delivering the course were attractive and meaningful in a subject like business ethics. Some parts of learning are helpful in our work life and are practiced widely in some business affairs, such as corporate social responsibility (CSR). Learning concepts from the outcome lecture deliverable would help me grow.

Some of my decisions were based on emotional or gut feelings. The ethical framework in decision-making provides a foundation for realizing what is right or wrong. As time progressed, it could be applied to day-to-day decisions. For instance, the broader consequences of actions on others are considered, and fair and just decisions are always made.

My presentation skills improved during the interactive activities in the classes as I had yet to be exposed to presentations during my career. Further, I realized me that properly exchanging information and listening to other perspectives make me a better team player. Furthermore, more CSR chapters enhanced the idea that such decisions are impacted on a broader level, including when and how they affect society and the environment. These considerations ensured that the holistic view of my future role as manager is not only based on ethics but also on the surroundings impacted by us and impacted to us.

Learning this course this semester helped me uplift myself by being ethically aware, communicative, and balanced in life. These changes have helped me to prepare for future challenges with a well-rounded viewpoint.
